I, Dennis, began my journey with Cru (while an associate professor at Cal Poly State University in California ) as the faculty advisor for the Campus Crusade student group where I also discipled students. But God called me to leave this tenured position and move to Poland (which was at the time behind the Iron Curtain) with my wife, Betty, to help reach Polish students for Christ.  

I, Linda, was involved in Campus Crusade as a student at St. Cloud State University in Minnesota, and God called me to join staff after a study year abroad in Vienna, Austria, where I helped start a high school ministry.  In 1979, certain of God's call,  I moved to Poland to help pioneer the ministry there.  I met Dennis and Betty in 1983 when they moved to Poland, and we served together on the campus team in Krakow.  It was in Poland I was given the nickname, "Kasia".  

After Betty's sudden heavenly homegoing in 1990, God brought us together, and we lived and served in Poland and Hungary where we raised our family of 3 kids.  Over the decades, we served by developing national believers to become ministry leaders in countries of Central and Eastern Europe.   We also helped pioneer and develop an evangelistic strategy for FamilyLife in Central and Eastern Europe that is thriving today under national leadership. 

Since 2017, we have served in the Cru campus ministry with Faculty Commons in Ohio, focused on reaching university faculty for Christ. We believe that God wants us to raise up multiplying disciples among faculty, whom God has strategically placed in  academia to be salt and light for God's Kingdom.  As Midwest Field Team Leaders for Faculty Commons, we help lead staff and volunteers in reaching their campus and equiping faculty and grad students to be lights for Jesus on campus. 

Our passion continues to be in winning, building, and sending Christ centered laborers into the world.  We can't do it alone.  By becoming a part of our team, and with God's help, we can believe God together to reach the whole campus for Christ. The whole campus to the whole world!
