David and Bethanne are currently serving together in the Northeastern USA region with the Cru Campus Ministry.  David serves on the People & Culture team in charge of hiring new campus staff and training them.   He and his team oversee over 250 staff and 50 interns serving in Baltimore, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and New England states, as well as in our overseas partnerships in Australia, East Asia, North Africa, Puerto Rico, and Botswana.

David and Bethanne have been married for 34 years. They served previously at Columbia University in New York City and with the Christian Embassy ministry at the United Nations. In 1995 they pioneered the Metro campus ministry in Philly. In 2003 David accepted the Regional Director role for New Campus Ministry Initiatives. In 2009 Bethanne was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) and David became a Regional Coordinator for new missionary mobilization. This has allowed him to work from home while caring for Bethanne.

They have three children Emily (31), Caroline (29) and Matthew (25). We welcomed Emily's husband Steve Low-Tufo into our family at their August 2018 wedding. David graduated from the University of California at Berkeley, "Go Bears!". Bethanne is an alumna of the University of Alabama, "Roll Tide!".

We have been forever changed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As a result, we are pursuing men and women who will go to the world to reach more people with this most precious life changing truth. We are thankful to be part of sending hundreds of missionaries a year, who reach tens of thousands.

It is our dream to see campus ministry movements established on each of the 540 colleges representing the 2.1 million students in the Northeastern USA. We remain deeply passionate for the students of the world. We believe they are the most globally common audience, perhaps the most strategic beachhead for reaching any nation, and arguably the most mobile labor force in all of history. His hand is on them. God is using students all over the world to change it.
