SENDING STRATEGIC NEW MISSIONARIES WHEREVER STAFF ARE NEEDED NOW
Our Vision: Steve gives leadership to our Sending and Recruiting strategies on the US Mobilization Team at Cru's Orlando headquarters. Our heart is to see many new missionaries sent where they are especially needed now to help fulfill the Great Commission. Our team assists people in the process of joining Cru and going to international and US assignments. This includes many efforts in recruiting, evaluating, preparing and placing all the new staff and short term missionaries with Cru into US and international assignments in strategic locations around the globe. Steve also develops recruiting strategies and systems to engage like minded believers with Cru's many opportunities. Our department provides support services for all of the US full time and intern staff wherever they serve around the globe.
Our Story: We served in Japan for 23 years. We met there, and rasied our 4 children. Andy (married to Ryoko), Ben (married to Quinn and on staff with Cru in Orange County, CA); Melissa (married to Ben), and Joshua (in high school). We did campus evangelism and discipleship on Japanese campuses, and later many Jesus Film projects in partnership with local churches. Our experience as a missionary family helping develop campus ministry, learning the language, leading teams, developing media strategies and caring for staff members has prepared us well to serve those who are now preparing to go.
