In 1989 my husband, Dave and I joined the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ and served at Rutgers University. We served 10 years there until Dave took a regional position and I began to help train and equip education majors and teachers to live on mission legally in the pubic schools. In 2017 Dave left Cru to minister in the Apartment Industry and we moved to Texas which led me to join the High School ministry of Cru and now Family Life Local in Plano, TX.
As I ministered to teenagers, I began to see the needs of the families of the teens which led me to transition to the Family Life Local ministry where I can come along side the entire family, helping moms and dads understand how to start a relationship with God as well as grow their marriages in light of the gospel! Our hope is that as their marriages are changed, they will have influence in their neighborhoods so that every person will have the opportunity to hear about and fall in love with Jesus. Dave has maintained being affiliate staff with Cru and in my new role we actually are able to partner in ministry to families in apartment communities near where we live.
I also am serving with Educators On Mission and the Educators Summer Mission, both efforts to engage with educators and future educators to help launch them as missional leaders in their schools. Our goal is to come along side these folks and help them not feel shackled in their faith.
