Connie and I were both raised in the Detroit area, met at Michigan State and were married in 1983. We attended the FamilyLife "Weekend to Remember" 4 years in a row, and then joined Campus Crusade for Christ staff in 1986, serving in the FamilyLife division in Little Rock, Arkansas. At that time, we only had one son. Twelve years and four more boys later, we felt God calling us to transfer to the Headquarters of Campus Crusade (now called Cru) in Orlando in 1999.

We served 14 years in various headquarters roles ... and had two more children! In 2013, God called us to transfer our ministry assignment back to FamilyLife again - only we didn't have to move back to Arkansas! We served locally in the Orlando area until recently moving to Marietta, GA in summer 2020. Our current role as a Regional Ministry Rep couple allows us to impact marriages and families for Christ in three of our markets: Jacksonville (Northeast Fla from Palm Coast to Tallahassee), Atlanta (most of Georgia) and Montgomery (most of Alabama). We do that thru local Volunteer Teams, and work directly with Pastors and Christian Community Leaders, to insure that couples have the encouragement and tools to thrive in their marriage! It is true that "great marriages don't just happen".

Clearly, our family has benefited greatly by being part of this incredible ministry! With five of our six sons already married, Sammy is still at home and Maria just graduated from Univ. of South Florida (in Tampa) ... and we are up to EIGHT grandbabies now ! It really is a joy and privilege that Connie and I get to work with FamilyLife, and be a part of bringing Help and Hope to couples across America, one home at a time!

None of this would be possible without the ongoing love and support of our Ministry Partners, who have prayed for us, encouraged us, and financially sponsored us for the past 35 years of ministry! Because of changing financial circumstances, several of our ministry partners have had to reduce or stop their support. Therefore, we are seeking God to add new ministry partners who can give monthly, quarterly or even annually, to insure that we continue to serve in ministry full time.
