About us:

Mark and Wendy were married in July 1989 and are currently living in Georgetown, TX. They have 3 children:  Matt, who is married to Starla with their daughter Julep and lives in Austin, TX; Katie who has special needs and is living at home; and Will who is married to Ashlea and live in Austin also.

Mark graduated from Kansas State University and served with Cru at the University of West Virginia as a single.  Wendy graduated from Auburn University and served in Japan and the Cru missionary training center.  After they were married, Mark and Wendy helped start the campus ministry in Bucharest, Romania, serving there for seven years.

Moving to Austin in 1997 to help take care of their daughter's special needs, Mark and Wendy had various roles with Cru's International Missions effort.

From  Feb 2020 to September 2023, Mark served with Mission Training International as their COO. MTI's focus is on the training and equipping of missionaries. In October of 2023, he rejoined Cru staff.

Our Current Ministry:   Mark serves on the leadership team of the Campus Ministry's International Missions Team.  The global vision is 1) the gospel for every student and faculty, 2) a student-led movement on every campus, and 3) multiplying disciples in and for every nation. Mark will be serving as the Director of Special Projects.
