We joined Cru in 1988 and worked as campus staff; first at Texas A&M University and then Southern Methodist University. From 1999 to 2018, we served at FamilyLife with the Live Events team, the Legal Administration team and the Content Development team. In 2018, we joined the JESUS Film Project. JESUS Film Project gives people the opportunity to have a face-to-face encounter with Jesus, no matter where they are in the world.

The JESUS film (based on the Gospel of Luke) has been translated into more than 2200 languages and has had more than eleven billion views since 1979. More than 655 million people around the world have placed their faith in Jesus Christ after seeing the movie.

Karen and I work with the development team as regional representatives. Our main purpose is to raise up and cultivate gospel patrons who fuel the mission of reaching everyone, everywhere. In short, we connect people and resources to projects that advance the good news of Jesus Christ worldwide. We help believers grow in the faith and we get direct opportunities to tell others about Jesus and to strengthen believers (2 Peter 3:18).
