On any given Sunday morning across America, the great majority of people will be somewhere other than in church. Most of them grew up in a world of MTV, divorce, or substance abuse. To them, God either doesn't exist or is a distant, impersonal force. They believe that reality is whatever is "true for me."  They leave behind a trail of broken relationships while trying to fill up their empty lives with material possessions, achievements, or selfish pleasures.

We joined Cru to reach these people with Jesus' love. Cru's strategies focus on winning people to Christ, building them in their faith, and sending them out to reach others.

Both of us serve in "behind-the-scenes" roles at Cru's world headquarters. Steve serves as a finance professional, helping field ministry leaders to be good stewards of donated funds.  Carrie serves as operations coordinator for The Significance Project, helping to mobilize men and women to introduce others to Christ.  As time permits, we also look for opportunities to tell men and women the truth about Jesus Christ and to teach them how the Bible is relevant to their everyday lives.
