Nancy and I (Dave) grew up in Northeast Ohio (Canton/Akron area) and met at our church’s Valentine’s Day dinner in 1983 (how romantic!). We dated through college and were married in 1988. It was at school that we both began to walk with the Lord and became involved with Campus Crusade for Christ, which is now called Cru.

It was also in college that Nancy and I were confronted with the reality that, apart from Jesus, people are lost. Knowing that He alone can forgive sin and change lives, we decided to invest our lives in helping students encounter Christ, to grow in the knowledge and wisdom of God, and to be laborers in the harvest.

We joined the staff of Cru in 1988 and spent our first 13 years at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. In August of 2001, we took a leadership role at our international headquarters Orlando, Florida. From here we give leadership to Cru's ministries here in the states and overseas. Specifically, we train new missionaries who join with Cru as they prepare for a life-time of ministry to literally take the Gospel all over the world!

We have four children, two son-in-laws, one daughter-in-law, and three grandchildren to share our lives with.
