Our prayer is that her.Bible will enable people to spend more time listening to and engaging with God’s Word, and that women will feel heard and valued through this new discipleship tool.  We also pray it might be a wonderfully new discipleship tool for Christians to use because it’s easy to share with friends.  In addition, the combination of audio and text make this a useful tool for ESOL.  We certainly pray that women in areas where they cannot own or carry a Bible will be able to listen discreetly.  Finally, we recognize that illiteracy and trauma often (though not always) are linked.  We surely pray that those suffering from abusive pasts will be able to listen in a non triggering female voice.I am thrilled to be joining at the one-year anniversary of its inception!  In the past year alone, the entire New Testament has been recorded and the app has been launched!  Please check your app store for the her.Bible app, and begin listening to God’s Word read by women from all different English accents and ethnic backgrounds.  You can also visit the website at https://her.bible.
