We have served on staff with Cru for 33 years in Missouri, California, and currently in Nebraska for the last 24. The mission of Cru Church Movements is: "Partnering to make Jesus known, multiply the church and serve the city." Picture transformative, multiplying churches in every segment of the city that communicate and demonstrate the gospel to every person, so that every man, woman and child would know the gospel and experience the love of Jesus! Here's what that looks like for our ministry specifically. 

Through our time spent in campus ministry, we gained a vision to raise up healthcare professionals trained in spiritual care with their patients.  They are in highly strategic and perhaps unparalleled positions to influence people for the gospel. We coach student leaders at UNMC and Creighton Med Center. Through Dr. Dinners, Bible studies, and mentoring we train, equip, and mobilize those in the health profession to best respond to the many ministry opportunities God brings to them in the clinical setting. We want to see every healthcare student sent into their profession trained to provide spiritual care for their patients and their co-workers.

Todd serves as the Midwest Regional Director for Church Movements. He meets monthly with local church planters for evangelism and discipleship training. He also leads a weekly bible study with inmates at the Douglas County Jail through Good News Jail and Prison Ministry. He also helps with prayer times through First Responders Prayer when homicides occur in our city.

Angela gives leadership to various groups of women and meets with medical students, mothers, and artists for discipleship. She continues to reach out to the arts community. In recent years, she has co-lead a workshop on beauty in brokenness through the metaphor of Kintsugi.

Together we host workshops called "Becoming a CoJourner",  teaching groups and churches how to come alongside people in their spiritual journeys and share the hope of Christ with them. Each spring we serve at the local Weekend to Remember marriage conferences in Omaha and Lincoln. We follow up new believers and help them to grow in their newfound faith in Jesus. It's a joy to watch God transform their marriages and their families!
