Thank you for taking this time to learn about this ministry God has given to us. 

We are Shane and Dorenda Hartley. For the past 34 years, we've had the privilege of serving with Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru), spending our first 16 years helping reach college students and the past 18 years reaching both professors and students.

God has called Cru, and us personally, to help make disciples of all nations through winning, building, and sending professors and students for Christ. Over the years, God has led us to serve at the University of Alabama, Clemson University, and the University of North Carolina Wilmington. He also opened doors for ministry in East Asia and continues to expand our opportunities to help launch faculty and student ministries throughout eastern North Carolina.

One verse that has become especially meaningful to us is Psalm 145:4, “One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts.” God has used MeetTheProf.com to share the stories of Christian professors whose lives have been transformed by Christ. Through written testimonies, videos, and the Meet The Prof podcast, professors openly share how Jesus rescued them, how He continues to work in their lives, and how they are making disciples on today's university campuses.

Our ministry depends entirely on the faithful generosity of friends who share this vision. Some partners support us through recurring gifts—monthly, quarterly, or annually—while others help through special single gifts that fund ministry projects and outreach opportunities.
