Matt has been on Cru staff since the summer of 1992. His first assignment was at the University of Northern Colorado. Then in 1998, he arrived in Orlando for a special "one-year" project. God has helped him find a niche and he has been in Orlando ever since. He currently works in our Mission Expansion team working on strategies to recruit volunteers to serve with us.  He is also a coach for our new and senior staff for their Ministry Partner Development. He can also be found doing any number of jobs as he loves variety and new challenges.

Rene has been on staff since the summer of 1994. Her first assignment was at the headquarters of Cru in Orlando in Human Resources.  She is now part of our national human resources team, working with our programs for kids from birth through high school as well as connecting people to what God has called them to.

We are currently raising our 17 year old daughter Jillian and enjoying serving with Cru!

Latest update (October 2025): Matt is working on some coaching and training of our new missionaries within Cru this fall.  Rene has been helping to equip our ministry childcare teams with what they need to be on mission with our kids! We are in full ministry mode these days as well as keeping up with life!  In all things, we are grateful for the life God has called us to.  Let us know how we can be praying for you.
