Thank you for your partnership with us in this ministry! Michelle and I have been on staff with Cru since 1993 and serving with Cru in Boston since 1999.  

Michelle serves on the People and Care Team providing staff care throughout New England.  Mike gives leadership to Cru in the Northeast, with its 26 field teams and 300 staff.  

Here are some current realities of the Northeast region:

  • 700 colleges and universities
  • 3.1 million college students
  • 146,000 international students
  • The least-churched region in the U.S.
  • All 8 of the Ivy League universities are in the Northeast

Because of the high caliber of the academic institutions, the world sends many of their best students here. But it is also a very secular place where the gospel of Christ is largely unknown or misunderstood.  It is in this context that we are working to build movements of evangelism and discipleship so that:  

  • Every student has an opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel,
  • Every student knows someone who follows Christ, and upon graduating,
  • Every involved student is sent out, equipped to make Him known wherever He leads them, for the rest of their lives.
