We have served with Cru for over 30 years, initially at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, and then at numerous college campuses in East Asia for 15 years.  In 2010 we returned to the US with our two children pursuing theological training for the next stage of ministry together.  After completing theological studies, we responded to God’s call to build spiritual movements among the 10,000 plus international students at UC Irvine, starting in the fall of 2014.  

The majority of the students we interact with come from East Asia, the Middle East, and South Asia. Through ten years of pioneering ministry, steadily building our staff and student leader teams, we have seen over 120 students from 21 nations come to faith in Jesus Christ.  In the fall of 2024 we began to give leadership to the "East Asia" Resource Network of Bridges International, directing and supporting local ministries across the US in their effective evangelism and discipleship of students from East Asia.
