Chris and Amber Porter

Chris and Amber Porter have been serving with Athletes in Action for 28 years. They were trained at the University of Illinois and spent a large part of their time on staff directing the ministry at the University of Virginia. Their latest assignment allows them to lead from a much larger platform as they have taken the roles of National Stewardship Director (Chris) and Human Resources Staff Growth and Development (Amber).  We will be able to come along side staff from all over the country and help them be "fully funded and financially faithful" and know who they are and how they can better serve on their current staff team or assignment. Along with serving in these roles, Chris will continue to serve as Chaplain at Johnson C Smith University on the west side of Charlotte. God is moving on this small historical black college near downtown Charlotte and it's been exciting seeing lives change.
