In my 27 years with CCCI/Cru, I've served in various ways, from working with athletes, camps/retreats, human resources, as a travel assistant, and as part of the operations team for Cru's biannual national staff conference.

I am currently serving as a project manager on the Global Communications team. This team manages the ministry's internal and external corporate communications by creating digital, video, audio, and print content. We are responsible for engaging with three primary audiences:

•  Internally, our staff members through hearing from the president. Like any organization, the president or CEO must communicate well with their people. It is no different within our ministry. Our team guides the timeline and content creation for a monthly letter sent to 16,000 staff and translated into 11 other languages. It is a way for frontline staff to remain connected globally as they minister in their region. 
• Internally, a sub-set of our staff are the national leaders. Cru has divided the world into seven regions, with leadership teams overseeing the ministry work in that region. Our team sends out two letters per month to 1,300 local leaders, usually from one of the VPs, to help guide their ministry efforts, inform them of updates, and provide them with resources needed to empower their work. 
• We also have an external focus, which is with our global donors who have a part in financing ministry projects worldwide to see the gospel advance. Much of this work involves serving the nations by bringing to this audience stories and needs that will make the most significant spiritual impact.

I Corinthians 12 shares that each person is given something to do. There are different kinds of gifts and various types of service. My service is one of administration and behind-the-scenes support, reflecting the good news of Christ through many communication outlets and spurring our staff and donors in their efforts to go and make disciples of all nations.
