MISSIONARIES WITH CRU 

Dion and So Wah Steinborn have served as missionaries with Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ) for more than 30 years. Through many different ministry assignments, God has given them a shared calling to help people know and follow Jesus and equip others to take part in the Great Commission.

DION (Jesus Film Project and the new animated JESUS movie)

Dion serves with Jesus Film Project as a Project Catalyst, helping prepare for the global launch and ministry use of the new animated JESUS movie. He works with ministry partners so churches and ministries around the world can use the movie to introduce people to Jesus and make disciples. This work supports Jesus Film Project’s 2033 goals: everyone, everywhere has a Gospel Encounter, and Jesus is portrayed through gospel-centered visual media in every heart language. 

SO WAH (Staff Care, Coaching, and Leader Development)

So Wah serves with Cru’s U.S. Staff Care Team, caring for missionaries and leaders as they work through personal, relational, and ministry challenges. She also coaches and mentors leaders, drawing on years of cross-cultural ministry experience and her studies in counseling. She wants to help them remain rooted in Christ and serve with fruitfulness and faithfulness.

MINISTRY TOGETHER (Local Church Discipleship)

Dion and So Wah also help lead an Asian Life Group at their local church, with people from many countries and cultures. They want it to be a place where people grow in God’s Word, care for one another, and learn to follow Jesus together.
