Mark and Katie both grew up in the Clemson/Seneca, South Carolina area. However, we did not meet until our freshmen year at Clemson University. We got to know each other through the movement of Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ) at Clemson, and eventually began dating. After graduating from Clemson in May of 2004, both with Communications degrees, we were married in July of 2004. The Lord then led us to join the staff of Cru in January of 2005. We have 3 kids: Caleb, Joel, and Emma.

We had the privilege of serving the students at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky, for close to 5 years. In May of 2010, we moved to Spartanburg, South Carolina. Mark is currently the National Operations Director for Faculty Commons, Cru's ministry to college faculty. Additionally, he and Katie both still serve on the Upstate SC Cru team, working primarily with students. We love working with both students and faculty, being graciously used by the Lord to take the life-changing good news of Jesus Christ to those that do not know Him.
