Josh serves as Jesus Film Project's Executive Director. He follows in the footsteps of 3 other men of God who have stewarded the ministry over the past 40 years. Jesus Film Project exists to help fulfill the Great Commission by helping the body of Christ do evangelism and discipleship through media. Last year, more than 374 million people around the world had an opportunity to follow Jesus, with over 400,000 new churches or fellowships established.

Before re-joining Jesus Film Project, Josh and Holly served overseas with LifeAgape, assisting national staff members in broad evangelism, planting churches and coordinating strategies with partners to ensure each person living in North Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia has an opportunity to hear about Jesus.

Holly has led Bible studies all over the world, and most importantly gives great leadership as a mom to their four children. The Newells have 3 sons, Jordan (17 yrs), Jack (15), Elias (13) and a lively daughter, Emerson (8).

The "JESUS" film has been translated into more than 1700 languages and has been viewed by over 6 billion people worldwide. Since 1979, 430 million people have given their lives to Christ as a direct result of watching this movie and the partnership of local churches.
