FamilyLife Vice President/Chief Development Officer

Thanks for visiting our page!  We are Gene and René Haub, and it is an incredible joy serving with FamilyLife in Orlando, FL.   We were both born in Oklahoma, met at Oklahoma State University and were married on June 26, 1982. We have three daughters: Alesha who is married to Cody, Allison who is married to Nathan, and Ashley who is married to Brian and has our two grandsons, Ethan and Noah. Yes, we are now empty nesters!  We miss our girls, but we love seeing God work in and through each of their lives.  

We have been on staff with FamilyLife since January 2000. Prior to this, we lived in Houston, Texas where Gene worked for Conoco Oil Company for 20 years in project management. While in Houston, we served on the local FamilyLife volunteer team as the Church Plan Directors. Together we partnered with over four hundred churches to impact marriages through the FamilyLife Weekend to Remember Getaway.

Today, our mission is to develop godly marriages and families by providing practical, biblical blueprints and resources on marriage and parenting as well as mobilizing and motivating others to impact families in their churches and communities! Currently, Gene is the Vice President/Chief Development Officer and serves on the Executive Leadership Team. 

Marriages and families are important to God and to us. What an incredible privilege to be used by God to impact millions of couples each year through FamilyLife Outreaches! The fight for the family is crucial to our country, our world, and the fulfillment of God's plan to reach the world with His message of Love and Forgiveness. It's a fight we must win together!
