While I was at WCU, I got involved with Cru and used and applied my filmmaking gifts for them and produced numerous short videos. It was through Cru that I began to understand that I can use my passions and gifts the Lord has given me for ministry and to further the Kingdom!

After two internships with Cru, I joined staff full-time in 2009, working  with a media and graphics design team to produce video materials and tools that will help students share the Gospel with their friends on campus. 

In 2012, I realized the Lord gave me a passion for Cru staff care and development. One of the benefits of being the man behind the camera is that you get to know the subjects you are filming.

As a result of that,  I had been serving in Cru's international headquarters in Orlando, Florida and part of the leadership team for the headquarters internship program from 2012-2017.

Now I currently help give leadership to the recruitment and development of the New Staff in the Campus Ministry of Cru in Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, and North Carolina.

I met my wife, Heather, back in June of 2019 and in less than a year, we were married

Heather currently volunteers her time with another ministry of Cru, FLAG (Freedom and Law Across the Globe),  leading virtual groups of 10-20 attorneys  in the state of Florida.
