For the first ten years of marriage, we lived a religious, unsatisfied life. Through the challenge and influence of others, we experienced spiritual transformation through surrender and spending time with the Lord in His Word and prayer. This spiritual renewal was the catalyst that the Lord used to call us into ministry.

Joining Cru staff in 2001, we served with Athletes In Action in Xenia, Ohio, for over 20 years. While ministering in Ohio, we raised two daughters, Meredith and Alison, who are married to our wonderful sons in law, Cory and Daniel. We also have twin grandsons and a granddaughter. 

Now serving with FamilyLife Ministries, we are excited about this new season of ministry and the opportunities we have in South Florida as Field Leaders with FamilyLife Local. We believe families are one of the most untapped resources on the planet in helping fulfill the Great Commission and cause societal change. FamilyLife's vision is that "every home would be a Godly home" and our mission is "to effectively develop Godly marriages and families who change the world one home at a time." 

We desire to help others to grow in their relationship with the Lord and experience the hope of the Gospel. Family relationships, marriage, and parenting can be challenging, but having someone to come alongside, encourage, and point one to Jesus can change the course of a life for generations to come. 

We view our financial and prayer supporters as true partners in ministry. It is only through the Lord using people who give, that this ministry is possible.
