Cru at UCSB is a movement of students whose lives have been transformed by the love and life of Jesus Christ.

We are seeking to give every student at UCSB, Isla Vista, the Santa Barbara area and the world, the opportunity to hear the gospel and begin a relationship with Jesus Christ.

We are a community that is about:

Truth
As a community we follow a person, not a set of rules. Jesus said I am the way, the truth and the life. Truth is a person; knowing Jesus means knowing the Truth.

Grace
We are a community of healed healers. We are broken people and we know it. But Gods grace is bigger than our brokenness. Jesus welcomed those who knew they had problems, and so do we. We are all public objects of His grace.

Justice
As a community we desire to make wrong things right. This is what God did as he sent Jesus to die on a cross and rise from the dead, restoring a damaged relationship with the people He created and a world estranged from Him. And just as He sent Jesus, He has sent us to help restore the broken things of this world.

The World
We are a community focused on bringing the transforming love and life of Jesus to UCSB, Isla Vista, and ultimately the world through the message of new life found in trusting Jesus Christ.
