Over the course of my 20 years on Cru’s staff, I’ve seen God develop in me a strong burden for the Great Commission’s fulfillment—disciples of Jesus made in every tribe, tongue, nation, and people. I’ve also experienced Him refining me and cultivating a number of gifts and passions: writing and editing, creativity and ideation, strategic planning.

I’m grateful and excited to serve in a role that pairs my strengths and passions wonderfully. I serve as Cru’s Director of Resources, which encompasses our publishing ministry, CruPress, and our online resource store. Our team designs and develops ministry resources that mobilize and equip our staff as well as the global body of Christ for effective evangelism and discipleship. Some of the projects I’ve personally contributed to include the book The Finishers and the evangelistic magazine Asking for a Friend, and our team stewards a range of resources from classics like the Four Spiritual Laws to new and innovative tools like Conversation Art Cards.

Both Maria, my wife, and I joined staff with Cru because our lives were transformed by God within Cru’s college campus ministry—each of us received Christ as freshmen and were mobilized to make disciples and be part of fulfilling the Great Commission. We married and joined staff in 2003, and are delighted to now live in Orlando and raise 3 wonderful and growing young Christ-followers: Hannah (15), Evie (10), and Isaiah (8).
