Thanks for your partnership & interest in our ministry with Cru!

Tomorrow's leaders are currently walking around on university campuses.  The decisions students make during these 4-5 years will set the trajectory for the next 60 of their lives.  This is a critical time in their lives when they are asking life's BIG questions, including what to believe or what is true regarding spirituality, faith, and God.  Our mission is turning lost students & faculty into life-long, Christ-centered, multiplying disciples and sending them to the world taking the gospel with them for others to know Christ.

Debbie & I met as students involved with Cru on a Spring Break trip in Panama City Beach, FL doing learning about & doing beach evangelism in 2001.  We are both OSU grads...I have a Nursing degree from main campus in Columbus, and she got a Floral Design & Marketing degree from the ATI branch campus in Wooster, OH.

We have 3 girls who are growing up FAST.  Grace (19) is a freshman at Ohio University in Athens, OH studying Health Care Administration.  She's adapting, learning, and enjoying her first year at college--and is also a part of OU's Club Waterski Team!  Karis (18) is a HS senior at Toledo School for the Arts (where all the girls went/go) and is our dancer, she's studied dance for 10+ years at a local studio and also gets to dance quite a bit at school.  Anya (15) has really enjoyed musical theater in a few local productions the past few years and is part of the Steel Drum band at school, which Grace also was part of and really enjoyed! (So did this Dad...the drummer at heart haha).    For the animal/pet lovers out there, our family also has 2 Pitties Rae (we've had for 7 years) and Duke (for the past 3) who we just LOVE and have been wonderful additions to the family.

We both served full-time at The University of Toledo since 2004 for 16 years except for 1 year at Cru HQ in Orlando, FL during 2013-2014.  In 2019 Debbie made a transition off staff & came full-circle with her floral degree...she started The Flower Mercantile, a small business doing Wedding & Event florals in NW Ohio.  I continue to serve with Cru full-time and stepped into a new role in August 2023.  My new role is Career Coordinator and the job description feels like someone custom-wrote it for me.  It's a perfect fit after being on campus/field staff for 18 years.  My role is to connect on a yearly basis with nearly 240 Cru Staff serving on 18 different Campus Teams in OH, MI, western PA, and western VA to get to know them, resource them with any developmental/leadership growth opportunities or resources, and help them to either stay in or find a great role/job fit for them within the many options that exist in the Campus Ministry and Cru as a whole while they also navigate their own changing seasons of life.  It's an AMAZING fit for me and I couldn't be MORE excited about it!  I want for Staff to be as healthy as possible & in a great fit for them so they can reach & influence students & faculty in the best way possible to know Jesus!  I am still connected with the Toledo Cru movement & am discipling a few of the student men which has been fantastic.

We greatly appreciate your prayer & financial partnership in this ministry! We love serving the Lord together with you!

Please let us know how we can be praying for you & your family!
