College is a step on the path of many leaders trying to achieve their fullest potential.  Yet without God that potential will be squandered.  Sadly, many students today are trying to fill their lives with things that will never satisfy (money, sex, alcohol, recognition, etc.).  At age 18, both Mike and I realized that living for academic success did not bring life.  We both recognized our deep need for God, and we chose to follow Him as Lord & Savior.  College was a time of tremendous spiritual growth.  God changed our lives.  In Him, we found the fulfillment and purpose we were looking for.

Mike gives leadership to the Strategic Partnering National team and routinely meets with church and Christian college leaders across the country.  Through this work, Cru has partnerships with 99 Christian Colleges and Universities.  We can't think of a more strategic group of students to launch into Great Commission work than the students on these campuses.  Mike's work at Cedarville University mobilizes students on this campus to four area campuses, and thousands of students have had the opportunity to hear about Jesus as a result.  It's our heart that these students would be sent into the world equipped and trained to walk with Jesus for a lifetime.

Mike's work with churches has resulted in dynamic and growing relationships with denominations, church planting networks, and city-reaching networks.  He works closely with EveryCampus to help reach colleges without an organized Christian witness.
