November 2022 we learned that Jenise has Breast Cancer. Our next season of life will look different and we plan on fighting it with zeal and joy from the Lord. God is faithful and that's what we will believe even during this challenging time.

Thanks so much for your gift to TeamBurris. Reaching athletes can't happen without financial partners like you. We praise God for you and your willing heart to financially sacrifice and join us as we invest our time talents and resources into people to see lives changed through the Gospel
What does TeamBurris do?:
1. Our mission in Miami is to come along side men and women college athletes at the University of Miami by teaching biblical principles, helping each athlete learn and grow into having a mature and healthy faith in Jesus Christ. .

2. During the NBA season, we both attend and provide chapel or bible studies. Jason works with the players and coaches while Jenise spends time and shares with the Miami Heat Dancers.
3. We have served on the leadership team for Athletes in Actions, Ultimate Training Camp (www.ulitmatetrainingcamp.com). This is a "don't miss" experience for a college athlete and one of the main reasons Jenise and I are on staff. It's where we met each other and where we have experienced and seen hundreds of lives changed.
4. We have been on staff for 20 years now, so we want to help those younger, behind and around us. Currently JB is working with the Stewarship Team. We work with our staff to thrive at every age and stage with the resources they manage. Jenise is a staff care specialist, working with staff in a variety of challenges helps people process in a healthy way.
5.Lastly as a musician, JB directs Run51 (http://www.wearerun51.com/). We travel all over the country sharing Gods message of love, true freedom and redemption in Christ.
WHAT ARE OUR NEEDS:
- That our hearts would be overwhelmed by Gods presence love in a way that people around us would want to know and experience the priceless joy of having a relationship with God.
-We have to raise 100% of our financial need to do the mission and work effectively.
-Our Annual Budget to raise $50,000. $25k is already raised.
-We Trust God to provide for our financial needs through “Ministry Partners” who give monthly or annually toward our mission. Together we make TeamBurris and impact the world for the work God has called us to.
