Petrit and Meredith Lleshi

Petrit is an Albanian national who grew up under a harsh Communist regime.  Meredith is a native of North Georgia and went on her first trip to Albania in 1996.  Both of us joined staff with Campus Crusade in 1997.  God led us together and we were married in 2002.  We have 3 beautiful children, Klara, Martin and Aleksander. 

Our family transitioned back to the U.S. in 2017 after 20 years in Albania.  Our youngest son has autism and we didn't have any good options for his continuing education there.  Petrit will begin working with two different Cru ministries, utilizing his passion and gifting.  Part of his time will be spent helping local churches to send teams out to various short-term projects - helping them see the bigger vision God has for the world and fulfilling the Great Commission. The other part of his time will be spent working with internationals, both at the University of Georgia in Athens, as well as in our local area.  We look forward to seeing what God will continue to do through our ministry.

Meredith has transitioned to a "Spousal Affiliate" - basically an official volunteer with Cru.  I will continue to help Petrit in all aspects of the ministry - particularly with the administrative side.  God has blessed me with the opportunity to work for the City Hall of my hometown.  I pray He will use me to bless those I work with and come into contact with through my job.
