We work with Athletes In Action, a ministry that helps athletes and coaches use their platform of sport to spread the Gospel around the world. During college, we saw how our lives were changed through AIA and we wanted to be a part of something that helped reach the world for Christ through the avenue of sports.

We joined staff with Athletes In Action in July of 2005. From January 2006 - May 2008, we were trained and equipped at the Athletes In Action World Resource and Training Center in Xenia, Ohio.  In May of 2008, we moved to Raleigh to give leadership to the ministry in Raleigh at NC State University and Shaw University.  After ten years, Russ took the Regional Director role from 2018-2020.   God called us to South Africa in 2019 and in January 2021, we joined the staff team in Cape Town.  We helped resource and serve the existing staff team and ministry there on two local universites.  God called us to back to the States May of 2024.  Since then, Russ has been serving on the Executive team as Vice President of field ministries.  He gives leadership to the campus and professional ministry teams.  Mary has joined in with the International Sending Committee and is exploring how to best serve women serving overseas. We have three boys Silas (15), Eli (14), and Judah (11) and currently reside in Apex, NC.
