Karl and I have the unique opportunity to serve in two different ministries within Cru. Living in Orlando allows us to be based out of our world headquarters, and serve alongside of each other to reach the world. At the same time, we are each able to serve out of the unique passions God has given us!
Karl serves on the Recording Partnerships team within Jesus Film. This team works with other missionary organizations such as YWAM, training local staff in how to record the Jesus Film themselves. Within the past 30 years the Jesus Film has been translated into over 1,800 different languages! But there are still at least 4,500 more languages in the world. If we want to provide an oral edition of the gospel in every language during this life time, we need help.
This is where the dubbing partnership team comes in to play. By training others to record the Jesus Film, we will be able to see more films produced sooner, which means greater access to the gospel around the world!
Chelsea serves with Destino, a campus ministry of Cru that uses a Latino-cultural value system to do ministry and engage more college students with the gospel. She serves as the National Winter Conference Director for Destino. Each January, Destino hosts a 3 day conference for all the college students involved in movements across the country as well as pastors and church leaders. They come together to grow in their faith, connect with others, and learn what it looks like to live on mission. Chelsea helps to make sure that all of the details come together and that an atmosphere exists for students to connect with the Lord.
Join us as we equip college students here in the United States and people all over the world to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to the nations!
