God raised our marriage from the dead :) He then called us to give the hope of Jesus away to others in the context of marriage.  For the past 20 years, we have walked that out with FamilyLife and witnessed God redeem and restore.  We serve two FamilyLife volunteer teams in VA (55 couples).  These teams are now  embarking on a dream  – to establish a marriage initiative in Greater Richmond and then throughout VA.   

We have bold and audacious desired outcomes – strengthen the local church; increase marriage; reduce divorce. We want to decrease the divorce rate by 30% in the next five years!  And in a state where 35% of children are being born to parents who are not married, we want to increase the marriage rate by 10% over the same time period. We believe as we share God’s winsome vision for marriage and help couples flourish, marriage will again become “honored among all”.  Your giving provide for our needs so that we can serve this growing marriage movement with all of our energy.
