Since 1951, Cru has pursued a single, unchanging mission —to win, build and send Christ-centered multiplying disciples. We want to offer every person in the world a chance to respond to God's offer of love and forgiveness in Jesus. We invite them to know Him and join us in sharing His love with others.
We seek to understand every person and see Everyone is on a spiritual journey. They may be moving toward or away from God. They may be content with their experience, or they may be seeking more. We hope to graciously help by moving toward people, walking with them, and confidently sharing Jesus' love through knowing and following Him so they might take the next step with Him.
OUR STORY
As students involved with Cru, both Meg & Karl saw the journey, students were on as they made significant decisions during their college years. Often thought they were making decisions that would only affect them for a semester or a year, but in reality, many of their choices would impact them for a lifetime. The Lord invited us into his work in students' lives by joining staff with Cru, Meg in 2002, and Karl in 2006. He has given us the incredible privilege to serve as missionaries in Colorado, Missouri, Côte d'Ivoire, and for the last decade, Cru's Global Headquarters in Orlando, FL. It has been a joy to journey with students through evangelism and discipleship conversations, inviting them to know Jesus and join us in sharing His love with others.
OUR FOCUS
For the last decade, we have helped young people know and follow Jesus from Cru's Headquarters in Orlando. We have served in various roles in the previous 10+ years at our headquarters; H.R. director, intern program director, recruiter, and facilitating training and development of missionaries and leaders serving with Cru in the U.S. and internationally. Meg continues to love equipping our staff as guides to help people take the next steps with Jesus. Karl serves as a Major Partner Representative, assisting donors to reach students with the gospel through investing their whole L.I.F.E. (Labor, Influence, Finances, and Expertise) in fulfilling the great commission.
YOUR PARTNERSHIP IS VITAL
You can make a difference and help people experience Jesus and continue their journey with him. Like many other mission organizations, Cru depends on the consistent financial support of concerned individuals and churches.
Cru has no central funds for paying its missionaries' salaries or personal ministry expenses. These contributions are used to fund the ministries of our staff members. We are responsible for building a team of ministry partners like you to partner with us in our monthly goal. To complete our team of monthly ministry partners, we are trusting God to provide $480 in new monthly gifts. We also trust God for $27,000 for Meg's Grad school as she pursues an M.A. in Christian Spiritual Formation and Leadership to enhance her ministry practice and impact. (See Proposal Linked Below)
