TOGETHER IN THE MISSION

Here's the Good News: God has invited us into this relationship with Himself, and now He asks us to follow Him. Together, we join people around the world in the work that God is doing in every nation, tribe, and tongue.

Since 1951, Cru has pursued a single, unchanging mission —to win, build and send Christ-centered multiplying disciples. We want to offer every person in the world a chance to respond to God's offer of love and forgiveness in Jesus, inviting them to know Him and to join us in sharing His love with others. 

We seek to understand and truly see each person, because everyone is on a spiritual journey. Some are moving toward God, some away; others are seeking more. Our hope is to graciously move toward people, walk with them, and confidently sharing Jesus' love—so they might take the next step with Him. 

OUR STORY

As college students involved with Cru, both of us saw the journey students walk as they make significant decisions during their college years. They often think those choices will only affect them for a semester or a year, when in reality many will shape them for a lifetime. The Lord invited us into His work in students' and faculties lives, and we joined staff with Cru, Meg in 2002, and Karl in 2006. Since then He has given us the incredible privilege to serve as missionaries in Colorado,  Missouri, Côte d'Ivoire, and for well over a decade, Cru's Global Headquarters in Orlando, FL. It has been a joy to walk with students through evangelism and discipleship, inviting them to know Jesus and join us in sharing His love with others.

OUR FOCUS

For the last decade, we have helped young people know and follow Jesus from Cru's Headquarters in Orlando. Over those years Karl has served in a range of roles—People & Culture Director, Headquarters Internship Director, recruiter, and learning architect—training and development of missionaries and leaders serving with Cru across the U.S. and around the world. Meg continues to love equipping our staff and ministry partner, helping people take the next steps with Jesus. Today both of us serve as a Major Partner Representative and Karl also serves as Development Chief of Staff—walking alongside donors as they reach students with the gospel through investing their whole L.I.F.E. (Labor, Influence, Finances, and Expertise) in fulfilling the great commission. 

YOUR PARTNERSHIP IS VITAL

You can make a difference—helping people experience Jesus and continue their journey with Him. Like many other mission organizations, Cru depends on the consistent financial support of individuals and churches who care about reaching the world for Christ.

Cru has no central funds for paying its missionaries’ salaries or personal ministry expenses. Each staff member is responsible for building a team of ministry partners whose financial gifts make their ministry possible. 

Right now, we are trusting God to provide:

• $1,727 in new monthly support to complete our team of regular ministry partners. 
• $20,724 in one-time gifts to cover our current shortfall in monthly and annual giving.
• $11,000 in one-time gifts o meet unexpected vehicle and family needs that arose early this year.

You can invest in our ministry by joining us as a ministry partner through monthly giving or a special one-time gift. Lives are changing every day as people believe and follow Christ, and your prayer and financial partnership truly make a difference in changing lives and reaching the world for Him.
