Andy and Crystal Young

Andy and Crystal have been on staff with Cru for the past 18 years. After directing Cru's campus ministry in Philadelphia for 11 years, moving with their family to serve in the Middle East, and then serving as regional director and international partnership director for Cru, they now serve full-time in pro soccer ministry with Cru's sport ministry department, Athletes in Action.

Andy was ordained as an elder in the Presbyterian Church of America (PCA) and he serves as the head chaplain for the Philadelphia Union in Major League Soccer and for the US Men’s National Team. Crystal serves with Andy, ministering to wives and girlfriends of players and staff, and they are involved in a number of community and global ministry efforts through the vehicle of soccer.                                


The Youngs have three children: Hudson, Avery, and Laurel, as well as a lovable Great Dane named Baron. They currently reside outside of Philadelphia.
