We are living in a time when people are more digitally connected than ever, but battling loneliness and anxiety, searching for answers to life's tough questions and longing to make a meaningful difference. 

We're all trying to grapple with the significant needs and brokenness in ourselves as well as the world around us. 

My name is Deanna Joy Kustas, and I have been in ministry with Cru for over 18 years. God has burdened my heart to be a part of Cru City Neighbors, so: 

          - Followers of Jesus are shaped by God and His Word, 

                more than anything else, we try to find identity and hope in.

          - The church is equipped to walk alongside those struggling 

                in their faith, to find community or with deconstruction.

          - The world experiences the love of God through the way we speak, live and meet the needs of 

                communities in Rochester, NY, and beyond. 

The Neighbors ministry exists to reflect Jesus for the good of the city through relationships and innovative approaches in partnership with local churches, organizations and individuals.​ My prayer is that the Lord would create opportunities for people to:

• Find their place in His story through Christ.
• Seek, wrestle and grow in their questions about life, God, spirituality, identity and purpose.
• Grow in biblical literacy and experience life-changing discipleship.   
• Build relationships with their neighbors and learn to live out their faith wherever they go.
