Ministry Overview

After over fourteen years of serving with Cru’s Financial Services Group as well the Campus ministry, God called us to trust Him to step into a new role and season of ministry.  So in 2021, we followed His call as our family transitioned to serve with Unto®, the humanitarian aid ministry of Cru.  We are so excited that as a family we get to be a part of God’s kingdom work around the world through Unto and the body of Christ!

Unto's Mission and Vision

Unto’s mission is to express the kindness of Jesus to people living in the toughest places on Earth by relieving suffering, restoring dignity and revealing hope.

Unto provides humanitarian coaching and resources to Cru missionaries and partners who work in more than 190 countries around the world.  We accomplish our mission through three humanitarian aid programs: Food and Agriculture, Clean Water, and Critical Aid.  This helps Cru missionaries and partners to gain access, build credibility, and increase effectiveness as they minister in their home countries.

For nearly 30 years, Unto has leveraged strategic global partnerships and the service of dedicated volunteers to relieve suffering through humanitarian aid in more than 75 countries.  Unto serves people around the world as part of Cru’s diverse, 190-country network.

Ministry Focus of Cru

Win people to Christ: We want to tell people about the good news of Jesus Christ and train Christians in how to share the gospel effectively with others.
Build them up in their faith: Through one-on-one discipleship, Bible studies, conferences and training, we help people grow in their walk with God and become lifetime followers and servants of Jesus Christ.
Send them out: Our goal is to equip and train people to be multiplying disciples of Jesus Christ.  We want to help equip them to be life-long Christ-centered laborers wherever God takes them.

Our Role

Taylor currently serves as the Orlando Warehouse Manager, which is an Unto role that serves all of the Cru ministries that utilize the Cru Annex, a 37,000 square foot warehouse space in Orlando.  He serves and leads a group of logistics specialists from Jesus Film Project®, FamilyLife®, Cru’s Campus ministry and Unto.

By providing leadership and stewardship over this shared Cru space, various Cru ministries are able to collaborate and accomplish more by working together than they would be able to separately.  We continue to trust God to accomplish exceedingly abundantly more than we could ever ask or imagine through the Cru Annex going forward!

Our Commitment to our Ministry Partners

  • To work diligently to touch the lives of people for Jesus Christ.
  • To regularly let you know how God is blessing the ministry.
  • To be financially faithful with the funds given for our ministry.
  • To share prayer concerns with one another.

Our Need

Like many other missions organizations, Unto staff depend on the consistent financial partnership of individuals and churches to carry on their ministry.  Gifts from our ministry partners are the only source of income to cover both our living expenses and ministry costs.  Your partnership can make a difference in reaching the world for Christ.  Would you prayerfully consider partnering with us in ministry through a monthly gift of $200 or some other amount?  Thank you so much for considering this opportunity!  We would be delighted to partner with you in serving our Lord!

Please contact us anytime!  We would love to answer any questions or share more about how God is working!
