Hello, We are Dave and Courtnee White and are on mission here in Northeast Ohio.  

I (Courtnee) serve full time with the Cru City as part of the Transformational Prayer team. Transformational Prayer is a form of listening prayer that invites slowing down and listening to God. Listening to God in Transformational Prayer allows the Gospel to reach deeper into one's heart and one's life story. I am in my 26th year serving in ministry through Cru. 

In addition to facilitating Transformational Prayer, I also help train other Cru staff and volunteers. We do both in person and online trainings and have trained Cru missionaries from more than 100 countries.

After 14 years serving with Cru, Dave responded to a call in 2022 to serve at the Lake County (Ohio) YMCA. As a training specialist, Dave helps YMCA directors train, retain and develop their employees through a variety of trainings and developmental offerings within the YMCA. 

Dave's work with the YMCA has opened up opportunities for community engagement for both Dave and Courtnee.  

I (Courtnee) partner with the YMCA and Care Portal in local ministry work meeting bothy physical and spiritual needs. Ministry opportunities come in a variety of ways: from meeting with someone who wants to talk about their mental health to walking with a single mom as she journeys through a period of homelessness into a new apartment. I get to see Christ at work in a variety of ways, drawing people to Himself, inviting them to deeper levels of trust in Him. 

How do the finances work? One third of our our financial needs are met through Dave's work with the YMCA.  And two thirds of our financial needs (Courtnee's salary and ministry expenses) are met through ministry partners giving.

Our kids are growing up! 

Luelle is 14 (03/11/2011).  

Dawson is 12 (04/26/2013). 

And Miriam is almost 10 (08/21/2015)! 

We have been married 17 years (05/25/2008)!
