Hi! My name is Jeanette. I serve in the campus ministry in the south of France. 

Did you know that in a study in 2010, France had the highest percentage of atheism in Western Europe? The old and beautiful Catholic churches are becoming less attended and sometimes becoming museums for the state (like the church in the picture to the right). Less than 1% of the population is evangelical Christian. It is also the most medicated country in the world for depression.

Despite this spiritual climate, where people don't believe in God and Jesus' message and identity are vague, God is at work in France and He is awakening a new generation. 

Students in France welcome spiritual conversations on campus and some students are coming to know Jesus personally. French believers are starting to come awake to the need to share the Gospel around them!

I work with the campus ministry in Montpellier to share the Gospel so that others may have the opportunity to say "yes" to Jesus, in addition to discipling Christian students to grow and share Christ in their daily lives. 

Montpellier is a strategic city for campus ministry, where 1 in 5 of the population is a college student!
