As college students, God used friends at Cru to show us what it means to know Christ personally.  As growing believers, we remained involved in our respective campus ministries through the rest of our college years, learning how to share the Gospel with others and walk more closely with God.

After Isaac graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire in 2009, he decided to serve in the ministry that had so changed his own life.  For two years he was an intern with Cru, reaching out to students at the colleges of northwest Wisconsin.  He continued to sense the Lord's call into full-time ministry, so he joined the staff of Cru in the summer of 2011.  He joined the Operations team at Cru's Minneapolis Office, where he had the opportunity to serve and support our staff and students by coordinating strategic outreaches on campuses and filling other vital operational roles.  Now he helps mobilize students to go around the globe as laborers through his role in Mission Trip Operations.

By the time Bethany graduated from the University of Wisconsin - LaCrosse in 2007, she knew that reaching college students for Christ was what she wanted to do with her life.  She became a staff member with Cru that summer and joined the Twin Cities Metro team.  Since joining that team, she has spent her time talking with students about faith, discipling leaders and new believers, and sending students from the Metro into a lifetime of service to the Lord.  Now, as a mom, she spends her ministry time teaching Bible studies on campus and serving through her administrative talents.

We were married in 2013 and since have been following God's call on our lives to raise up students as missionaries and send them where the Gospel is needed!
