Edward & Emily Brake

College is a season where students are making lots of big life decisions that will impact their future: choices about career, finances, relationships and more. Often they have questions about the meaning and purpose of life and spiritual things. We strive to give students the opportunity to follow Jesus, grow in their faith, and be sent out to make Jesus known on campus and around the world.  

Edward serves as co-team leader of Cru's Mission Trip Operations Team, sending students from universities across the US on mission trips in the US and around the world to share the hope we have in Jesus. Emily is a full-time mom while also serving part-time on campus with professors and students at the University of New Hampshire and Keene State College.  New Hampshire is one of the least religious states in the US. That means we have the challenge---and privilege!--- of sharing Jesus on a campuses where students often don't know much about Jesus. 

Our three kids, Samuel, Sophia, and Sarah, love spending time with students and students really enjoy getting "kid time." We are so blessed to do ministry together as a family, inviting students to come and do life with us. For both of us, Cru was pivotal in our walks with Jesus during college and we are thankful that we've been able to journey alongside students since 2009 (for Emily) and since 2015 (for Edward.)
