Jayson and Jessica Choe

#0621306

Once upon a time an Oregon duck (Jayson) met a Georgia peach (Jessica) in the Big Apple. They ended up falling madly in love with each other and the city. The peach loves Broadway musicals, plays, operas, and museums - basically anything fine arts. The duck likes them too but prefers food, free outdoor movies, board game meet ups, and poetry slams.

Jayson currently serves with Cru Inner City in New York City. Cru Inner City's mission is to "serve and mobilize the church to live out God's heart for the poor, so all can grow in Christ to build spiritual movements everywhere."  Every night in NYC there are over 63,000 homeless people staying in homeless shelters and sadly over 22,000 of those are children (https://www.coalitionforthehomeless.org/basic-facts-about-homelessness-new-york-city-data-and-charts/).

Many of the devastating effects of poverty are due to a lack of options. We work with the body of Christ to help create options that offer hope in Christ and practical resources to families and individuals in need.

Thank you for praying so faithfully and giving so generously to make it possible for us to serve God in NYC.
