My name is Kelsey Keizer and I am currently the Head Coach for Southwest Baptist University Women's Basketball.  I also serve as affiliate staff with Athletes in Action (AIA) in the arena of Basketball. My first experience with AIA was in August 2009 on a Basketball Tour to the Czech Republic. I returned to Prague, Czech Republic as an Intern with AIA in January 2010.  My ministry involved playing on a Czech basketball team, teaching English at a sport university, and hosting a variety of other events with the AIA Czech staff.

Following my Internship in Prague, I returned to the United States to coach basketball at Southwest Baptist University. I served three seasons as the Assistant Coach and have now moved into the role of Head Coach. Although my coaching responsibilities are high, I remained involved with AIA by recruiting for a number of events both domestically and abroad.  I have been involved with Women's Basketball Ministry Tours to Uganda and Columbia in recent years.  

This summer I will be traveling with other College Basketball Coaches on a Discipleship Tour to Israel.  We will spend 8 days studying God's word and the cultural context of Jesus' ministry. I believe this tour will help me grow in my personal relationship with the Lord and as a result help me be a more effective leader for my basketball team.
