I grew up in Palo Alto, CA, and graduated from Dartmouth College in 2010, where I was involved with the Cru student fellowship. The close community of acceptance I found there and the experience of having all the secret, shameful parts of me known and not judged changed my life and influenced me to want to positively impact the lives of others in the same way.

I interned with Cru and Lifelines at the University of Maine in Orono for two years before joining full-time staff in 2012.  Lifelines is the outdoor and experiential learning network of Cru.  Lifelines challenges students spiritually and physically on wilderness trips like rock climbing and white water rafting.  Adventure tends to expose our deepest fears and beliefs about ourselves, God, and others!  In that place of heart awareness, Lifelines staff share about Christ and how he's relevant to the deeper issues of life that are discussed.  Very diverse groups come on trips, like fraternities, sports teams, Cru student leadership, freshman dorm groups, and campus newspaper staff.

I currently serve on the Northeast Lifelines team based in Portland, ME, leading trips for colleges all across the Northeast region (NY to Maine).  In addition, I help with the local campus ministries near Portland, leading Bible studies and coming alongside students in their spiritual journeys.  I work to see the lives of college students transformed by encounters with Jesus and built up through Christian community, so they will have an impact for God wherever they go in life during and after college.
