Welcome! So glad you're here!  After hearing about Cru's STINT program (1-2 year international internship) on a five-day vision trip to East Asia in December of 2009, I thought, "What's a year? I can go and do anything for a year." Now almost thirteen years later,  I'm still in awe of what God can do in a year, and what he invites us to be a part of in his work to redeem individuals, families, cities, and nations to Himself! 

I live in Austin, TX where I currently serve with Cru's ministry to international students, Bridges International. I reported in November of 2021 and now two years later, I'm counting the Lord's many sweet gifts. I live in a charming neighborhood just north of UT Austin campus with my canine sidekick, Finn. When I'm not hosting students in my home or strategizing with my Chinese Network team via Zoom, I'm most likely at a neighborhood park with Finn, reading a novel, or listening to a podcast or Spotify playlist. I have new and old friends who call Austin home, and thanks to my brother Jeff and sis-in-law Katy, I'm constantly discovering new food hotspots around town. This next year I hope to do more short road trips to central Texas towns and cities;  getting more acquainted with the beautiful Texas hill country!
