Hello! Thanks for coming to our giving page! We are Matt and Callie Pfaff and have been serving with Cru since 2010 and 2014 respectively, focused on reaching today's college students with the gospel. Matt ministered at Cal Poly Pomona before we got married in 2015, after which we both served on the staff team at Cal State Fullerton.  While there, we relaunched a Cru movement at Long Beach State, and in 2017 we established a new Cru staff team focused on reaching students for Christ in the Long Beach/South LA County area.  After 8 years leading there, it became clear that God was directing us into a new season focused on growth and health.  

At the beginning of 2026, Matt took a role as a Mission Trip Operations Specialist and we moved to Cru's Headquarters in Orlando, Florida where we are serving for this season.  The Mission Trip Operations team coaches and equips trip leaders, and helps with logistics, for the 300+ Cru mission trips that take over 4,500 students during the year to share the gospel across the globe.  We are grateful to be a part of bringing the good news of Jesus to the world for the fulfillment of the Great Commission. Thank you for your partnership with us in seeing Chirst be made known throughout the earth! 

Our kids are Emie (Born Nov 2021) and Everett (Born Sept 2024).

Other Fun Facts:

Matt was born and raised as a missionary kid to parents working with Wycliffe Bible Translators in Papua New Guinea. He left New Guinea after graduating from high school and spent his college years at the University of Southern California(USC).  He loves singing, volleyball, outdoor adventures, and mentoring young men.

Callie was born and raised in the hill country of central Texas near San Marcos. Having grown up in a Christian home, she has had a heart for missions since a very young age and always wondered growing up if God might call her to do that "crazy missionary thing." Callie spent her college years in Fort Worth, Texas at Texas Christian University (TCU). Callie loves reading, writing, exploring the outdoors, drinking coffee, crafting, and helping women grow in their faith through discipleship.  She also graduated with a Masters in Spiritual Formation from Talbot Seminary in May 2024.
