Hello! Thanks for coming to our giving page! We are Matt and Callie Pfaff.  A little about us:

Matt was born and raised as a missionary kid to parents working with Wycliffe Bible Translators in Papua New Guinea. He left New Guinea after graduating from high school and spent his college years at the University of Southern California(USC). After graduating in May 2010 he felt the Lord leading him to full-time ministry and joined staff with Cru that summer.  He loves singing, volleyball, outdoor adventures (including climbing trees!), and mentoring young men.

Callie was born and raised in the hill country of central Texas near San Marcos. Having grown up in a Christian home, she has had a heart for missions since a very young age and always wondered growing up if God might call her to do that "crazy missionary thing." Callie spent her college years in Fort Worth, Texas at Texas Christian University (TCU). It was there that she first began to feel the Lord calling her toward full-time ministry through her involvement Cru at TCU. Over her 4 years there she had the opportunity to go on several overseas mission trips and ultimatey decided to join staff with Cru when she graduated in May of 2014. Callie loves reading, writing, exploring the outdoors, drinking coffee, crafting, and helping women grow in their faith through disciplesip and evangelism. 

We met in December 2013 through a mutual friend, fell in love, and got married on May 22, 2015.

We are now doing ministry together in South LA where Matt is the team leader over our scope that includes Long Beach State, Cal State Dominguez Hills, and multiple community colleges in the area.  While working there, we have a hand in launching and building movements that reach out to lost students, building up believers in their faith, holding Bible studies and weekly meetings, mentoring students, organizing outreaches and more.  We are thrilled that the Lord has called us to serve Him in this way!
