We initially met through Cru as students on a summer project to Ocean City, MD.  After interning for two years in different locations, we joined staff, started dating, and got married about a year later. We have four beautiful children: Jacob, in Heaven and Eden, Webb, and Isabelle in our home.  We love each of them dearly as they uniquely bring joy to our lives and are tangible reminders of God's goodness, kindness and extravagant generosity towards us.

We are located in Richmond, VA where we serve in various ministry roles. Meg serves in ministry primarily to our children and also to women finding hope following the loss of a baby. John-Mark serves as the Chief of Staff for Oneness in Diversity, a national department that gives guidance to US Cru ministries in intercultural knowledge, care, communications and support. Oneness in Diversity aims to help Cru missionaries live out the diverse unity that is found in the body of Christ maintained by the Holy Spirit and to foster a community that celebrates Jesus’ prayer that “we all may be one” in John 17.

In this capacity, John-Mark has the opportunity to serve various branches of Cru in such as US Campus Ministry, Jesus Film Ministries, Athletes in Action, Family Life, and more. This broad scope allows for a unique interaction with a variety of missionaries to encourage them to love God & love others. It’s an honor to help set direction for our organization and provide leadership to our as they grow in loving God & each other while being the light in dark places.
