I have been working with AIA since 2011, originally interning at the University of Michigan and Eastern Michigan University, before transitioning to Operations Coordinator for the National Campus Team. I have found myself in a postion that God has uniquly gifted me as I build a team that helps the campus ministry expand. I have found the Lord calling for my life in serving the campus staff of Athletes in Action in a way that allows them to minister longer and more effectively to the student athletes on their campuses through both Operations in the office and Campus Ministry with Wilmington College.
I first got involved with Athletes In Action as a college student at Washington State University. My faith flourished though Christ centered relationships and Bible studies.
After graduating, I moved south to Arizona for grad school and a job as an Athletic Trainer for the swim team. During this time, I began to see the emptiness that serving sport as a god brought. The athletes that I spent time with were usually injured and hurting physically which I could help with, but what God began to reveal was how their spiritual needs where not being met.
I joined staff in 2012 and have served on campus at the University of Washington and Washington State. Currently, I serve the development department at the AIA headquarters in Xenia, OH. I spend most of my time doing donor events and helping at Wilmington College with Owen when I can.
We are thankful for the ways God has provided for us and appreciate your support as we work to fulfill the great commission.
Joshua 24:15 " But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, .... as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD."
Matthew 6:1 "Don't do good deeds publically to be admired by others, for you will lose the reward from your father in Heaven."
