Dear Friends,

Thanks for taking the time to read about my family and what God is doing through FamilyLife, Cru's ministry that is trusting God to effectively develop godly families who change the world one home at a time. I have the privilege of joining the content team of FamilyLife of other passionate people who are producing resources for godly marriages, homes and kids. My, contribution to my team is as a writer and a theological reviewer. As a writer, I get to reflect theologically on marriage and parenthood specially from a mixed marriage perspective. I also help my team make sure that the resources we use are theologically sound in accordance with our values and mission.

I am a Venezuelan who came to the Christian faith when he was in college. After finishing my engineering degree in 2008, I decided to join staff with the Cru college ministry in his country and worked there for 5 years. Kayla grew up in Oklahoma. God used Cru in her life when she was in college at the University of Oklahoma to help her grow into a deeper relationship with Him. I met Kayla in Venezuela when she was an international intern for Cru from 2011 to 2013 bringing the gospel to college students. In 2019 we welcomed our sweet baby boy Tobías into our family. We also spent six years in Denver serving the campus ministry through the Latino community in Denver. As a family of three, we have a huge desire to see many transformed lives by our Savior Jesus.
