The Lord has used Cru in great ways in our lives. When each of us went away to college, we each encountered a group of Christians who studied the Bible, prayed faithfully, and genuinely sought to love the Lord. For Ashley, this group was how she came to faith in Jesus. Cru intersected Ken's life when his father nearly died and they became the community he really needed in that tough time. We each experienced tremendous growth in our walks with the Lord, trusting Him with greater and greater things: summer missions trips, interning with Cru, traveling overseas, getting married, and now parenting two sweet girls. Our current ministry with Cru entails engaging students at Old Dominion University and Norfolk State University as well as others in the Hampton Roads area.

God is moving! God is alive! We are passionate about seeing more college students in Hampton Roads Virginia transformed by Christ! We are here to mobilize them to prayer, loving the Lord, and taking the Gospel to the entire world! The business world, medical world, missions, US or International. Wherever they are! We are increasingly convinced this is how the Great Commission is going to be finished! Building community, discipleship, Bible studies, and just processing life together.  But we cannot do this alone!

Like many mission organizations, Cru staff members have the responsibility to develop a team of financial partners who provide the necessary finances for their outreach, including salary and work related expenses. So as we do the work of long term missionaries in Hampton Roads Virginia, will you prayerfully consider partnering with our ministry at $100 a month or some other amount?
