My name is Katie Johnson. I am married to Ben and have a 5 year old son, Wylder and 18 month old daughter, Wren. God used Cru in my life in a big way in college and I saw just how broken people are and how they need Jesus. That is when God called me to work with Cru- to share the Gospel with as many people as possible. I joined staff in 2011 as an intern with the media ministry of Cru and spent 6 years there creating short films to start conversations with people about Jesus.

In 2017, we had our son, Wylder, and I knew that I wanted to stay in ministry, but wanted to move into a new job as a new mom. That is when God called me into a new ministry of equipping laborers in the field. 

I am now serving on staff with the Ministry Partner Development team helping mobilize missionaries to report to their assignments Christ centered,  fully funded, and financially faithful. I love seeing more missionaries being sent to every corner of the world and playing a part in helping them get to the field and stay there by being fully funded. More people can be reached with the Gospel as more people are sent to the field.
